Set sail on a voyage that will have you experiencing the best of France and Western Europe. Your journey begins in Bordeaux, where an overnight stay will present you with the opportunity to savor the region’s famed wines. Continue on to Nantes in the stunning Loire Valley, where another overnight will allow plenty of time for royal chateau visits and local charcuterie.

At the western tip of France, you’ll find yourself in Brest. Apples, not grapes rule this region so expect to sip cider with your Breton crêpes, before venturing off to explore Brittany’s dramatic and rugged landscapes. A late night departure will give you plenty of time to visit St. Peter Port, part of England’s Channel Islands. Stroll the harbor admiring the rows of brightly painted houses, or learn about the German occupation of Guernsey, during WWII. Another late-night stay in the walled city of St. Malo will allow you to take the time to truly experience the splendors of Mont Saint-Michel.

In Cherbourg, the D-Day Beaches of Normandy are steeped in military history. With a stroll down Honfleur’s cobbled laneways and dinner or evening drinks in a bistro overlooking the harbor, it will be easy to see why Monet and other impressionists were so taken with the area.

Depart France for the Flemish countryside of Belgium. Bruges is a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its breathtaking canals, traditional lace, and moules-frites. Frites, or fries are so beloved in Bruges, there’s a Frietmuseum dedicated to the crispy spuds.

Your journey concludes with an overnight visit to Amsterdam. Take in priceless works by Rembrandt and Van Gogh and wander the city's many canals on foot, by boat, or as the Dutch do, by bike.
